We rank no-KYC exchanges using something a “top 10” list can’t fake: real user reports collected after a completed swap, recording whether the exchange actually stayed anonymous or asked for KYC. As of September 2026 the dataset holds 55 verified reports across 12 exchanges — 50 (91%) confirmed no KYC was requested and 5 flagged verification. Here’s how the ranking works and how to read it. - 55 verified reports

- 50 confirmed no-KYC
- 91% clean rate
- 0 unmoderated entries
Why user reports beat a generic “best” list
Most “best no-KYC exchange” lists are affiliate rankings — nobody checks whether the service quietly asks for ID mid-swap. Our no-KYC track record is different: it’s built from what actually happened to real users on real swaps, so it catches services that say no-KYC but don’t always deliver.
How the rating works
After a swap completes on notkyc, the user is asked one question: did this exchange request KYC? Each answer becomes a colour-coded entry:
| Signal | Meaning | What it tells you |
|---|---|---|
| Green | No KYC requested | Stayed fully anonymous |
| Orange | KYC / extra info asked | May verify on some swaps |
| Red | Funds held / withheld | Froze pending verification |
The last 25 swaps per exchange are shown as a bar. Two safeguards keep it honest: reports are gated to a real completed swap (you can’t rate a service you never used) and every entry is moderated. That’s why the sample is smaller than a review-farm’s — but each data point is real.
What the 2026 data shows
Across 12 exchanges with enough swaps to rate, the clean-no-KYC rate sits at 91% (50 of 55 reports). The 5 orange flags are the useful part: they mark services that are usually no-KYC but occasionally ask for more, so you can choose a cleaner alternative for sensitive trades. How to use the ranking
- Open a pair — e.g. BTC → XMR.
- Check the No-KYC record bar next to each exchange.
- Prefer green-heavy services; weigh orange for larger or sensitive swaps.
- Combine with our privacy/trust grades to finalise.
Frequently asked questions
How are no-KYC exchanges ranked here?
By real user reports gathered after completed swaps on notkyc — each records whether the exchange asked for KYC — plus our privacy/trust grades. It’s data, not marketing.
Can the ratings be faked?
Reports are gated to a real completed swap and moderated before counting, so a service can’t pad its score or bury complaints from competitors.
Why are there only 55 reports?
Because only genuine, completed swaps qualify. A smaller set of verified reports is more trustworthy than thousands of unverifiable reviews, and it grows with every swap.
Where can I see the live ranking?
On the no-KYC track record page, and as a per-exchange bar in the live swap comparison.
