Privacy posture: El Capo leans hard into the no-KYC, Monero-first ethos ("no ID, no name, no limits") and is Tor-native, publishing .onion mirrors alongside the clearnet site. It advertises a GHOST MODE and states that order data is automatically deleted within 30 days, or sooner on request — a genuine data-minimisation practice, though not the same as keeping zero logs at all times. There is no KYC step anywhere in the swap or partner-API flow. Custody and caveats: because it holds its own reserves, El Capo is custodial during a swap — your coins sit with the service until it pays out, so treat it as a hot service, not storage.
