How swapping works

SwapSS issues a binding quote with an expiry and creates the order from that quote id, so the rate you saw is the rate you get. You send to a one-time deposit address and receive at your wallet. Monero (XMR) is supported for private routes like BTC to XMR and XMR to BTC.
