What is AML?

AML (Anti-Money-Laundering) is the set of rules requiring financial services to monitor and report suspicious transactions. On exchanges it drives KYC checks and on-chain screening of deposits. Even some no-KYC swap services run automated AML screening on incoming coins and may pause a swap if funds are flagged.
