What is Crypto mixer?

A crypto mixer (or tumbler) breaks the on-chain link between the coins you send in and the coins you get back by pooling and redistributing funds. It's used to improve Bitcoin privacy, which is transparent by default. Note: mixers carry legal and counterparty risk, and several have been sanctioned.
